Hunting for Michigan Morels Ben Smith ENG 100 Introduction: The state of Michigan is great for hunting edible mushrooms. Some of the common mushrooms people like to hunt for are the chanterelle, honey or â€Å"stumpers†, and the morel. The morel is one of the more popular mushrooms that people look forward to hunting. Michigan’s atmospheric conditions make it a great state for these mushrooms to thrive in during the season. Before you go hunting, it is important to know the etiquette and a little about the particular mushroom you’re hunting so not to make the mistake of accidently picking one that could potentially harm you. Because there are so many mushrooms that are edible here in Michigan, I choose to focus on one of my favorites – the morel. Not only are they one of the most hunted mushrooms here in Michigan, they are also one of the most easiest mushrooms to correctly identify. Before we discuss the description of the morel it is important to know when to go searching for this delicious mushroom. Here in Michigan, the best time to spot morels is early spring. They can be pretty unpredictable as to where they will pop up and you may not find them in the same spot the next year. I started with reading the words â€Å" normal adult† before I get start into the main concepts of unit two. This is something I think is very close to my daily life because my parents are considered normal adult to me. They set up the best real model for me. Therefore, it is not difficult being a normal adult from my perception. Yet, by end of unit two, I was proven wrong. I now realized that â€Å"normal adult† is actually not exist in this world; even though, the definition of being a â€Å"normal adult† is not fixed, I think different social group will position normal adult according to their own cultural background. When this happens the client may become offended and end counseling. Counselors should have knowledge of their own general views, as well as specific knowledge about diverse client’s issues (Sue, 2008). Diversity in family structure should also be taken into consideration when formulating goals and assessing treatment success or failure (APA, 2002). Counselors also attempt to understand the cultural values of each client to gain feelings of trust. Some issues with culturally competent assessments is that it is not race specific and whether existing instruments measure the correct attributes, based on different cultures (Hays, 2008). Diversity plays a role in many aspects of assessment, diagnosis, and treatment. Clarity in these three characteristics may allow counselors to better assist families from diverse backgrounds and that will bring about better treatment outcomes (APA, 2002). Counselors should have an attitude of cultural humility in knowing their limits of knowledge and skills in rendering diagnosis with certainty than reinforcing stereotypes and generalizations (Sue, 2008). While guidelines exist for conducting a culturally competent assessment, few of these guidelines provide the link between the information gathered, the initial decision making, and the development of the treatment plan (APA, 2008).

However, in employing the resources in wisely manner, the company may not budget money in order to purchase the raw materials for the additional 3 million widgets. Therefore, it can be considered unwise and desecrate of resources on the basis of sales budget. The company may be left with high raw material inventory on hand and can incur carrying cost. Thus, the company may not will to reap all the sales possible (Eldomiaty, 2010). Thus, it can be said that sales budget has to be prepared first and then other budget has to be followed. On the other hand, the other budgets can be affected by the sales budget. The human resources or direct labor engaged in the manufacture of widgets can be relied on the sale of one million widgets. Therefore, the company may need around 100 workers that can work full time in the year. Thus, the direct labor costs can be known by the company on the basis of their sales budget (Currie and Rowley, 2010). On the other side, the costs can also be applied on the capital expenditures or overhead. Thus, the company can assign finance in order to purchase or upgrade suppose one machine on the basis of sale of one million widgets. Hence, it can be concluded that in order to determine other costs, sales revenue has to be considered (Eldomiaty, 2010). As, the sales revenue is the amount that is realized from the transaction of goods and services and the company incur costs so that goods can be produced and service can be rendered.
